Tony started off as a Media Buyer in his native London for Bartle Bogle Hegarty (he took the job after establishing that TV Buying didn’t actually involve being on the phone to Sony every few days!).
From there, he graduated into Account Management where he gained experience in integrated and direct marketing agencies, before deciding to switch London’s pubs for Sydney’s beaches in 1999. Here he followed a passion and settled into his niche in Strategy - he likes whiteboards and Venn Diagrams way too much if you ask us!
This extremely broad background actually gives Tony a fairly unique ability to input across the entire marketing mix which allows him to help clients achieve their business and marketing goals more successfully (he claims it was all part of a some grand career masterplan, but no one here believes him).
Tony has helped deliver business results for brands including: P&G, Fairfax, HP, Skins, Peugeot, Cadbury, Telstra, HSBC, Aussie Home Loans and 3 Mobile.
In 2009, Tony put his extremely varied experience to use by taking on the reins at The Furnace as the MD in Sydney. A role he now continues at the newly launched Arnold Furnace.
